ALL THUMBS
All Thumbs combine alternative indie pop with psychedelic dreaminess, to create refreshing and inviting songs, tackling themes such as love, heartbreak, and cancer.
Dynamic front person, Rosa Kinsella and guitar player extraordinaire, Ciarán Hearns, met in college studying music, and began writing and playing gigs together. The additions of fellow West of Ireland musicians Daniel Kinsella on bass duties and Marcus McCambridge on drums solidified the All Thumbs sound.
All Thumbs are a contradictory band; Their energetic live show promises a good time, but their songs have depth and melancholy, as they explore the complexities of being twenty-somethings navigating the world around them. Their delivery is centred around a duo vocal approach, relying on their interesting harmony abilities, as Rosa and Ciarán take turns leading off a song. Driving melodic bass cuts through the shimmering, dreamy guitar sounds, while the drums tease the audience with an unorthodox use of timing, propelling the band in and out of time signatures. The All Thumbs sound is reminiscent of Tame Impala, Men I Trust, Arctic Monkeys and Courtney Barnett.
Fans can anticipate the All Thumbs debut single “Slipping”, dropping on all platforms on the 13th of September. Join them at their single release launch on the 20th of September, in Upstairs Whelan’s, with special guests, Trinkets and Nessa McHugh.

NESSA McHUGH
Nessa McHugh is an Indie Folk Singer/Songwriter hailing from County Meath. Taking inspiration from artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Adrianne Lenker, and Elliott Smith, her music is kept acoustic with notes of ambience behind it. Nessa loves to create an honest atmosphere with a soul baring and vulnerable lyric style.
